We are a professional association dedicated to improving and enhancing the quality of management in the legal profession.

The Silicon Valley Chapter is the proud recipient of
the ALA Presidents' Award of Excellence-Platinum Level
for effective chapter management!

In 2008, to commemorate the ten year anniversary of CCW, the ALA chose to support the Smile Train an organization that provides free cleft palate surgery to needy children. It takes just $250 and 45 minutes to provide the surgery and change a life.

The Smile Train is a 501(c)(3) organization.

The ALA Silicon Valley Chapter was chartered on February 5, 1982 and was formerly known as the Peninsula Chapter until 1998 when it was changed to the Silicon Valley Chapter. The chapter currently has over 100 members in law firms, corporate and government legal departments in the South Bay Area from Redwood City to Salinas.
