Committee ChairpersonsFor more information on volunteering for any of these available positions, please contact Yvonne Mills at (650) 839-5048 or ymills@fr.com. Community Challenge The Community Challenge Committee coordinates the Chapter’s volunteers in providing service to the community.
Duties and responsibilities include organizing and coordinating all activities regarding the CCW event held in October as well as ongoing events throughout the year. The Committee will also choose organizations to assist, prepare communications to Chapter members and others in the legal community regarding the event, provide notices to the press and print media, and coordinate volunteers.

Bar Relations The Bar Relations Committee serves as the Chapter’s liaison with various local Bar Associations to help foster working relations between our Chapter activities and those of the local Bar Associations.

Membership Committee The Membership Committee is responsible for recruiting new members and ensuring that new members are welcomed. The Membership Committee is also responsible for the maintenance and distribution of the Chapter Membership Directory and communications amongst the members.

Education Committee This Committee is responsible for scheduling speakers for our monthly meetings on a wide variety of topics which will be of the utmost interest to our members. The Education Committee is also responsible for the communication of events to our members and maintaining the Chapter calendar of events.

CLM - Certified Legal Management Committee The Certified Legal Management Study Group Committee is responsible for organizing a study group for members interested in taking the Certified Legal Management test and becoming certified.

Vendor Business Partnering The Business Partner Committee is responsible for building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships between the Chapter and its business partners. This Committee focuses on developing sponsorship and advertising opportunities for legal vendors and consultants within the Chapter. Chapter sponsorships are available from July 1 through June 30. A directory of the Chapter's current business partners can be found on the Business Partner page of this website.

Web Site The Web Site Committee is responsible for maintaining the Chapter web site and ensuring that all of the information is current and in compliance with ALA National.
