Office Manager, Ropes & Gray, LLP. Silicon Valley, CA

JOB SUMMARY

Manages the overall operations of the Silicon Valley office under the direction of the Chief, Real Estate and Facilities and with general guidance from the Managing Partner of the office. In conjunction with firm-wide directors and managers is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of human resources, secretarial, paralegal, facility/operations, and office systems. Identifies and resolves problems which arise in the office. Identifies, plans and manages the changing needs of the office.

Manages the secretarial support function for the SV office. Supervises the teams of secretaries to efficiently deliver on an ongoing basis a variety of administrative and legal support tasks under tight deadlines and constantly changing priorities.

Works closely with the firm's administrative departments to ensure consistency of the one-firm focus and in applying firm-wide administrative policies and practices.
